Know the input coverage
The current import supports up to 3,000 variants and 1,000 recent orders, with visible safety warnings for incomplete inputs. The configured sales window and available Shopify data determine the history used. Fitting the variant limit does not prove that the complete sales history fits the order cap.
Candidates are compared against available history
ReOrder compares run rate, weekly seasonal, recent average, weighted trend and intermittent-demand candidates using rolling historical evaluation. It shows model and confidence evidence. This is not a claim to long annual seasonality when only a short history is available.
Policy turns a forecast into a recommendation
The planning workflow considers demand through lead time and review period, a safety-stock allowance, available and reliable inbound inventory, supplier constraints and optional cash limits. The merchant can inspect the calculation and decide whether to accept, change or defer it.
Adjustments require evidence
Recorded stockout periods, confirmed demand events, unusual-order cleansing and temporary new-item assumptions can affect planning. Keep those assumptions visible and revisit them as observed data improves. A forecast is not a guarantee of future sales.
The current operating boundary
One Shopify store is supported, with inventory aggregated across returned locations. The current workflow reads planning inputs and does not update Shopify inventory, place orders or send suppliers a message. Evaluate location-specific and multi-channel requirements separately.
In the ReOrder workflow
Good recommendations depend on a few consistent Shopify fields. ReOrder is designed to show gaps rather than silently guess.
