What ReOrder purchase-order drafts do and do not do

Prepare the draft from a reviewed plan

ReOrder groups funded replenishment recommendations by supplier into local purchase-order drafts. Review quantities, prices and dates, and use the available CSV export for your purchasing process. A draft is not an automatically sent order.

Approval and communication remain human steps

The merchant approves, changes or defers the decision. ReOrder does not automatically send a purchase order to the supplier or create a native Shopify purchase order. Carry out any required supplier communication through your established process.

Track what happened locally

ReOrder records ordered, received and cancelled states, including partial receipts and activity history. Only unreceived balances of relevant local orders contribute to local incoming-stock planning. Recording a receipt does not change Shopify inventory.

Reconcile stock and incoming quantities

Maintain the actual Shopify stock record through your operational workflow. Check the timing and remaining quantities before relying on inbound stock, and take care not to count the same incoming quantity twice.

• Inspect supplier references and expected arrival dates.
• Protect manually edited drafts from automatic refresh unless you opt in.
• Record partial deliveries and corrections accurately.
• Investigate an overdue order before trusting its arrival date.
